About Tokyo Ginza

Ginza is one of the most famous shopping districts in Tokyo. It is lined with upscale boutiques, classy cocktail bars, and sushi restaurants, some as old as Wako, which sells fine jewelry in its main building built in the 1930s, and others as new as Ginza Place, which sells high-tech products. On weekends, the main avenue becomes a stylish pedestrian mall. The famous Kabuki-za Theater offers traditional kabuki performances.

I walked around Ginza on a Friday night. There were a lot of people on the street and I got the impression that there were a lot of fashionable women. It's a pity that the illumination in Ginza, including Wako, disappears after 8 p.m. due to the declared state of emergency.
